Behlen's water soluble aniline stain is a premium quality product that features deep penetration and the advantage of providing the best light fastness of any aniline dyes. It brings out the natural beauty of the wood's grain without a "muddy" look. Simply add the dry powder to warm water and mix in a glass or plastic container. Once mixed, it will not settle out of solution. Standard mix is 1 oz. of powder to 1 qt. of water. However, powders may be mixed in different ratios to achieve virtually any color or shade. 25% alcohol may be substituted for water for warmer colors and quicker drying time. We recommend overnight drying before applying the finish. Use Bekhol Proprietary Solvent B6502816.
