DGG- De-Glue Goo- 8 oz. De-Glue goo is a non-toxic solvent for water-base glues, specifically hide glue, yellow and white glues which are more often used to join furniture and musical instruments. It was developed byy Larry McNeil, a long time furniture builder and restoration expert, for use in his own shop.
Other uses for De-Glue Goo
Dee-Glue Goo does a great job of removing "squeeze out" glue after clamping. Sometimes scraping, chiseling or even sanding the dry glue does not ensure that all the glue is gone. De-Glue Goo soaks into the pores, dissolves the glue and then can be easily scraped off, followed by a wipe with a damp cloth. Once the spot has dries, it can be sanded and finished. Chair caning crafters will find De-Glue Goo indispensable for cleaning old glue out of spline grooves.
